Strawberry grapefruit popsicles

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Servings: Makes 6 popsicles

What you’ll need:

  • Blender
  • Knife
  • Popsicle mold
  • Drinking straw (optional)

Substitutes: You can use a food processor instead of a blender, or simply whisk all the ingredients together and enjoy chopped fruit bits in your popsicles! If you don’t have a popsicle mold, use paper cups and wooden popsicle sticks.

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
  • 1 can of 3E Energy Elixir in Strawberry Grapefruit
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Note: Feel free to add more fruits, less sweetener, etc. — our strawberry grapefruit popsicle recipe is totally customizable, so let your imagination (and taste buds) go wild! If you want a more filling snack, you can also add your choice of milk or yogurt for a creamier popsicle.

  1. Prepare the strawberries — Wash and hull the strawberries, then cut them in half.

How to hull your strawberries with the drinking straw trick:

  • Easily hull your strawberries by holding the strawberry with one hand and inserting the straw at the bottom of the strawberry, pointing upward toward the stem.
  • Push the straw through the center of the strawberry, aiming to go straight through the fruit and out through the stem end. As you push the straw through, it will remove the hull (the white, tough center) and the attached leaves.
  • Pull the straw out, and the hull should come with it.
  1. Create the base — Combine the strawberries, 3E Energy Elixir, honey or agave syrup, water, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt in a blender. Blend until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  1. Strain (optional) — If you prefer a smoother texture, you can strain the mixture using a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds and pulp.
  1. Pour into molds — Pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a small space at the top to allow for expansion as the popsicles freeze.
  1. Insert sticks — Place popsicle sticks into the center of each mold. If your molds have built-in sticks, you can skip this step.
  1. Freeze — Place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.
  1. Enjoy! — Once the popsicles are fully frozen, run the molds under warm water for a few seconds to loosen the popsicles. Gently pull them out and enjoy your refreshing strawberry grapefruit popsicles!
